Courses

The ISO, Istituto Studi Odontoiatrici - Dental Studies Institute -, has been operating since 1982 with the purpose to spread and to promote new therapeutic techniques and to divulge dentistry to ever higher levels.

The center is structured on two floors with a total surface area of 1.000 square meters.

The first floor, besides locating the areas reserved for the reception services and the secretary’s office, is completely devoted to our lecture rooms.
A dental practice is featured here, fully equipped for hands-on demonstrations of orthodontic and implantological interventions.
A lecture room, seating 12, allowing the attending doctors to visually participate in the interventions. A radiological room. A 16-bench dental laboratory fully equipped. A multi-purpose lecture room for 80 trainees.
Endoral and extraoral online television cameras make all the interventions visible in real time in the various lecture rooms.
On the second floor the big lecture hall "Marco Pozzi" welcomes up to 250 participants. The room is endowed with the finest multimedia devices.

The didactic tools the center possesses and the international status of the lecturers we invite, make each event a profitable and memorable one for all attendees.
The ISO, under the scientific coordination of Prof. Isabella Tollaro, Department Head of Orthodontics at the University of Florence, offers a complete program of courses for the Doctor-Surgeon and the Dentist. Training courses for Dental

Technicians and the teaching of marketing for orthodontic and implantological products for Italian and foreign commercial operators are also held here.
The courses promoted by the ISO have always been intended for a limited number of participants. This is done to establish a closer working relationship between teacher and student, thus allowing the fundamental notions to be passed on through direct communication.
It is a very demanding field we are involved in. The ISO provides, through education, the answers to these demands. Its aim is, quite simply, to be a reference point for all those with a serious interest in orthodontics and implantology.
